malignant melanoma 恶性黑色素瘤

The nodule in the cerebellar hemisphere represents a metastasis. The black colour suggests malignant melanoma. Lung, breast, melanoma, genitourinary tract (mainly kidney), and gastrointestinal tract are the most frequent primary tumors that metastasize to brain. Metastases to the cerebrum are as common as primary CNS neoplasms in adults. The most common location for a metastasis is at the gray-white junction, as illustrated in the MR image above. However, metastases can be found anywhere. A solitary metastasis, as in the MR image, can mimic a primary brain neoplasm.
